In the business world, it is certain that we have many competitors. If there are no competitors, it cannot be said as a whole business, but rather a trade monopoly. When doing business, maybe we have hoped that our competitors will disappear or just leave, so that we don’t have a single competitor. But in fact, having competitors is very good and very necessary for the development of our business!
1. Don’t Be a Copycat
Career Advice colleagues, this is the most important step when we compete in business. Even though we have many competitors who offer the same types of products and services as us, that doesn’t mean we have to imitate what they display and provide to buyers. We need to get rid of this kind of thinking. Besides imitating is an offense, imitating will only make our products worse in the eyes of society. They will think of us as plagiarism. Try your fellow readers to position yourself as one of the competitors whose ideas you take? Surely we will feel annoyed, and this will only make business competition not develop properly. As a result, the innovation of business people and company owners will decrease. How not, every businessman tries to imitate each other, so there won’t be any developments, right?
2. Don’t Be Careless with the Competition
The challenge became even more real, when five years ago there was a company that created a product with a concept that was very similar to ours. Are we worried? Not. We tried to be as calm as possible at that point. We are not afraid that what we have created will be taken away by others. We face it very calmly, because we believe that we are leaders in our own path.
3. Don’t Underestimate a Competition
This third method should not be ignored either. A competition is not something that should be ignored or taken lightly. Every day, every hour, every minute even every second, new competitors will be born who can threaten our business. Competitors will be present in various sizes and types from each doorway of opportunity that exists. However, all competitors come with one common goal, namely, they want to beat us who are their competitors as well.
4.Don’t Play Dirty (Cunning)
As business people, we need to be wise and smart in making every decision and taking action. We don’t need to take revenge when another competitor tries to steal our customer list (database). If our competitors dare to do something like that, it means that there is something wrong that they are doing, or even they are making a guide.
